Rabbi Shmuel Brody grew up in Silver Spring, MD, the son of Rabbi Moshe and Faige Brody. Rabbi Brody Sr. was the rabbi in Syracuse, NY for seven years. His mother’s father was Harav Hagaon Shlomo Zalman Braun, the author of “Shearim Metzunaim B’Halacha” on Shulchan Aruch and Shas.

Rabbi Brody attended Ner Yisrael in Baltimore, MD as well as The Jerusalem Kollel under Rav Yitzchak Berkowitz and received semicha from both Rav Berkowitz and Rav Zalman Nechemiah Goldberg.

Rabbi Brody’s upbringing by his grandfather and schooling in classic Lithuanian yeshivos give him the combination of chassidic warmth and hislahavus (excitement) as well as traditional yeshiva learning. He, together with his wife, Rebbetzin Sarah Brody, lovingly care for their family of five and their extended family, Ashreichem Yisrael.

Rebbitzin Sarah Brody is the spirit of Ashreichem incarnate.  Her effusive and sincere energy combine with her creativity and dedication to transform everything from the conventional to the exceptional.  Combining friend, mentor and leader seamlessly into one seems impossible— until you meet the Rebbitzin.  Above all, the Rebbitzin is an advocate for women and children in the community and Ashreichem families benefit from content-laden activities done with fun and passion.
